Once you have configured the settings you need to edit the relevant text files
so that you can download the stock quotes of your favorite stocks.
Four text files comes with the download, namely:
Google Intraday.txt
Yahoo One Minute.txt
Yahoo Five Minute.txt
NSE Indices.txt
You have to append both the Symbol and the Exchange separated by a "," (comma)
for Google Intraday. The sample file will give you a fair idea. To get more info
on symbol and exchange list do visit
Google Finance.
For both Yahoo One Minute and Yahoo Five Minute data you need to append the
symbols only. Yahoo symbols for non-US markets are unique in nature as they
contains a suffix after the exchange symbol. To know more visit
Yahoo Finance.
Do remember both Google and Yahoo supports a whole lot of exchanges so do a bit
of exploration.
For NSE Indices you need to put in the indices name only in the txt file. The
names should be exactly as they appear in the dropdown list
here.
You should put all the txt file in the folder,
where Data Downloader exe file is.
Running the
application

form from the Download > {Intraday Data or EOD Data} > {data source}, set the
